פַּרְצִידָא

פַּרְצִידָא, פַּרְצִדָאm. (v. פַּצִּידָא; ר inserted) 1) cut, trench, v. פַּצִּידָא. 2) (cmp. פּוּרְצָנָא) kernel, stone. Taan.4a פ׳ דתותי קלא the kernel under a clod. Ib. האי צורבא … לפ׳וכ׳ a young scholar is like the kernel (v. נְבַט), i. e. when his reputation begins to spread, it spreads wider and wider.Pl. פַּרְצִידַיָּא, פַּרְצִידֵי. B.
